The Story
History has a way of bringing things back, so that you remember things that had happened once before so that they could either not happen again or to happen again. Memories of a time when you were sitting on the grass of the school grounds, holding hands and sucking on lemon drops. Or the time that you broke your wand and had to get a new one thanks to the fact that you had done something bad, and you knew that you were going to get into trouble with your mother. Things that were good and things that were bad come back to you when you sit and think and allow the memories to return to you.
But time for thinking, time for remembering the past has come to a pass, and its time to think about what is going on now, to keep the ones that you love and the ones that love you safe in the world. The war between the light and the dark has been rolling through for the last five years, Grindelwald has been rising his dark forces for some time now, and is moving to fight against the ministry and all that stand in his way. He wants nothing m ore then to make the muggles their slaves, that only the pureblooded cn be in the magical world and all others should be cast out and made to live as muggles as he thinks that they should.
Standing against him is Dumbledore, professor at Hogwarts school former lover of Grindwald and the broken heart that just wishes to see the world safe for all to life in. To not punish muggles and muggle borns or being who they are, and the things that they have been through. He wants everyone to have the right to know magic, with in reason that is. All Dumbledore wants is to keep the world the way that it was before all this, and maybe turn Grindelwald back to the man that he had once been to him.
With all that is going on, with the war, the darkness and the fighting, one day we hope to win so that we can go back to sitting on the green grass, holding hands and sucking lemon drops, worrying about what mother was going to say about the broken wand.
Welcome to Lemon Drops and Broken Wands.
