Typical Work Day (open)

It was early in the morning, and he wanted to get the early beat before paperwork at the end hours. No one really know why but paper at the beginning of shift then beat before punch out always ended with stupid shit every time. He had just gotten done with a rough sting he was picked out for last night that kept him out to 1 in the morning. His shift today started at 5 so he wanted the easy ticket for the day.

The Head of the Department always leaves a stack for the morning crew to pick from, but it always disappears quick. So, if you wanted one you had to be in early and the earlier the better. It's 4 right now and he looks through the stack finding a nice 2-person border beat that looked quick and boring. Ah now this looked right up his alley today, so he quickly took it and made some coffee. "Who's up for early border patrol?" He asked out to those few that had the same idea as he did.
